What is your problem?  We have been broken up for nine months.  That’s three times the amount that we actually dated.  I get that you wrote me that poem because you were still trying to get me back.  I get that you sent me that balloon with a letter written on it because you did that with a group of your friends, not just me, and even that was kinda crossing the line.  But this?  Really?

I’m in a relationship, and even if you aren’t labeling it, you are too, based on the cutesy pictures of you and Aubrey on Facebook.  

You are 26 years old.  First of all, you are too old to be making roses out of duct tape and used, empty toilet paper rolls.  Second of all, why would you take the time to mail it to me? Why would you do that? I don’t care that you made it for me months ago during the summer (which, if I might remind you, we were broken up).  You shouldn’t have sent it to me, and quite frankly, I find it a bit creepy that you’re still sending me stuff NINE months after we broke up. 

If you want to be my friend, that’s fine.  We didn’t break up on bad terms and we had a nice long discussion about why our relationship didn’t work.  If I see you in public, I’ll say hi. If I see you at a party, I might talk to you for a few minutes.  But this shit needs to stop.  It’s super inappropriate. Stop sending me random shit in the mail.  Ok?
